Where Wisconsin posts its bids
- State bids
- eSupplier (Wisconsin Bidder Portal). State agencies post solicitations and pre-announcements of upcoming bids in eSupplier, where bidders can review documents and respond online. UW System campuses and municipalities still post their solicitations on VendorNet (vendornet.wi.gov/Bids).
- Register as a vendor
- eSupplier registration (free). You register through the Wisconsin Bidder Portal, add NIGP codes and get email notices of matching solicitations. All bidders must register in eSupplier to get notifications, including for bids posted on VendorNet.
- Technology buying
- Division of Enterprise Technology (DET) IT Vendor Resources. DET is the state's enterprise IT division within the Department of Administration. This page is for current and potential IT service providers, and IT buying runs through the State Bureau of Procurement.
- Small business certification
- Wisconsin Supplier Diversity Program (MBE, WBE, DVB certification). The program certifies minority-owned, women-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (at least 51% ownership). Certified firms are listed in a database that state agencies, UW campuses and contractors use to find suppliers.
- Free bid coaching
- Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WI APEX Accelerator): the state's APEX Accelerator helps small businesses with registrations and proposals at no cost.
Big city, county and agency buyers
Each of these runs its own bid page, and most want you registered in their system too.

|---|---|---|
| City of Madison | Open bids | DemandStar (also VendorNet) |
| Dane County | Open bids | OpenGov Procurement |
| Waukesha County | Open bids | Bonfire |

- The WAMS login used for state systems will be inactive on 12/31/2026, and users will need a new MyWisconsin ID account. source
- The City of Madison formally bids purchases of $75,000 and up and posts them on DemandStar and VendorNet. From $25,000 to $75,000 it gets at least three quotes. source
- UW System campuses and municipalities continue to post solicitations on VendorNet, but bidders must register on eSupplier to receive notifications. source
