What we collect, why, and who handles it. Plain version.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you subscribe, to send you the newsletter. Nothing else is required.
• Which page or link you signed up from (for example a partner's link), so we know which channels work. It's stored as a tag on your subscription.
• If you buy Pro: your name and email from checkout, to give you Pro access. Card details go to Square and never reach us.

Who handles it

• Buttondown stores the subscriber list and sends the emails, including open and click statistics.
• Square processes Pro payments.
• Cloudflare hosts this website.
• Meta (Facebook): this site uses the Meta Pixel, which records page visits and sign-ups so we can measure our Facebook ads. Meta may use cookies to do this. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook ad settings, or block it with your browser's tracking protection.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your email address, and we don't share it with anyone except the services above, which need it to do their job.
• We never email you anything except what you subscribed to.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe in one click from any email. To have your data deleted, reply to any email from us and we'll do it.
