Where Florida posts its bids
- State bids
- MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Information Portal (VIP) bid search. Where State of Florida bid advertisements are searched. Electronic responses to state solicitations are submitted through the SAP Business Network.
- Register as a vendor
- MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) Vendor Information Portal (VIP). Vendors must create a VIP account to do business with the state, listing the commodities and services they offer. To submit electronic bids you also need an SAP Business Network account; the Standard Account is free. The state charges a transaction fee on payments (0.7% from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027).
- Technology buying
- State Contracts and Agreements (DMS Division of State Purchasing). DMS competitively procures state term contracts and alternate contract sources, and manages IT enterprise software agreements. State agencies must use state term contracts; counties, cities and school districts are eligible users.
- Small business certification
- Office of Supplier Development (OSD) Certified Business Enterprise (CBE). OSD certifies woman-, veteran- and minority-owned Florida-based small businesses. State agencies publish Business Participation Plans and 90-day spending plans through OSD to increase their use of CBEs.
- Free bid coaching
- Florida APEX Accelerator: the state's APEX Accelerator helps small businesses with registrations and proposals at no cost.
