Where Colorado posts its bids
- State bids
- ColoradoVSS. Most state agencies post goods and services solicitations here. CDOT and most state universities post on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (BidNet Direct) instead.
- Register as a vendor
- ColoradoVSS vendor registration (free). Registered vendors get email notices of new solicitations that match the NIGP commodity codes they pick, and can respond to some solicitations online.
- Technology buying
- Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT). The state purchasing office says IT procurements are consolidated under OIT by statute.
- Small business certification
- Colorado Unified Certification Program. Statewide Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification run with CDOT, so applicants do not need separate certification from several agencies.
- Free bid coaching
- Colorado APEX Accelerators: the state's APEX Accelerator helps small businesses with registrations and proposals at no cost.
